What we do:


Good-2-Go Oregon is Central Oregon's premiere community-based support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The employment program ensure our clients are able to participate in the workforce by helping them find and maintain gainful jobs in the community.  

What you will do:


Job Coaches work in the field to support clients in maintaining their employment. This typically involves providing a client with on-site job skills training, supporting clear communication with the employer and coworkers, and supporting the client in meeting their employment goals.  These services always take place at the clients place of employment.


A typical day varies based on the client supported but generally includes:

  • Assisting the client with problem solving,
  • Helping the client manage stressful and social situations,
  • Teaching the client to perform various work-related tasks,
  • Helping the client understand job tasks, and
  • Helping the client find natural supports in their workplace

Good-2-Go has openings for a Part-Time position, 20 hours per week.  


Typical work hours are flexible between the hours of 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday-Friday may include occasional weekends and evenings

Compensation:

  • Starting Rate: $16.00 - $17.50
  • Bonuses based on client retention

​What we are looking for:


The right person for this position is a self-starter who is willing to learn and perform various work assignments in the support of customers.  Professionalism and strong problem solving skills are a must.  As with all infield positions, strong preference will be given to those who have experience engaging with the I/DD community (In either a personal or professional capacity). 

Qualified applicants: 

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Show solid organization and multitasking capabilities,​
  • Demonstrate the ability for creative problem solving, and
  • Have experience in teaching, training, recruiting, working in the social services or sales (preferred but not required).


Job Requirements:

  • Be able to pass a criminal background check,
  • Be able to obtain a First-Aid/CPR certification within 90-days of employment,
  • Have reliable and insured personal vehicles to use during services (with travel/mileage reimbursement), and
  • Have a reliable smartphone that can be used in the field.
