The AlayaCare Solution

What will this mean for you?

  • Staff electronically clocking in/out through their phone.
  • You will either have to sign (on mobile app) or have a picture taken to verify the service.
  • Staff will be required to complete notes & goal tracking in order to clock-out of service.
  • All G2G forms will be electronic; including incident reports, Intake paperwork, and annual file update information.  There will also be program specific documents now completed electronically.

Good-2-Go, East & West, has chosen to go with the AlayCare

solution.  The platform will be constructed during the 4th quarter, 2019, with a soft roll-out in December, and full roll-out January 2, 2020.

The AlayaCare platform is a unified package, which includes the EVV service and full data management (member information, service notes, goal tracking, and contract management, electronic forms).

The 21st Century Cures Act (2016) requires that all Medicaid Funded programs providing in-home & community based supports to implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) by January 1, 2020.

The EVV function is typically done through the use of staff's smart phone, on an app.  The EVV is required to record the following information through the clock-in/out process.

  • What service is being performed
  • Who is receiving the service
  • Date of service
  • Location of service (GPS Coordinates required)
  • Who is providing the service
  • Time of service start/finish
  • Client verification - electronic signature, picture, pin

The goal & intent of the act is to reduce medicaid fraud, and ensure recipients are getting the services being funded.

Medicaid agencies may choose their solution, or utilize the state solution through the eXPRS platform.
